Morality is the last bastion that fundamentalists cling to; it is the one realm that science can say nothing about. But what morals does the Bible really promote? It's been quoted to justify numerous evils, including The Crusades, The Inquisition, The Salem Witch Trials, and the modern Middle East disaster. Fundamentalists such as Phelp's Westboro Baptist Church have even claimed that God struck America through 9/11 and Katrina.
