I sit back and watch the vehemence with which the public and the media attack Dennis Ferguson, one of Australia's most notorious paedophiles. While the man has served his time I can understand the anger and the worry that residents experience when the find out he has been moved to their suburb. What did he do to deserve this notoriety? Abducted and sexually assaulted 3 children of an acquaintance in 1987. In 2005 he was charged with the sexual assault of a 5 year old, but not convicted. To say he is reviled is an understatement.
